-184% at end-of-life

Hempstatic has the potential to reduce 37% of carbon emissions in extraction and 75% in production compared to a baseline insulation. The biggest impact is at end-of-life, where 184% of CO₂-eq. can be reduced. In total, a saving of 84% carbon emissions can be achieved.

Our biocomposites are circular, fire-safe, and offer aesthetic qualities.

They are designed with a focus on the end-of-life which is built on 4 circular design principles.

High quality standards, innovation, material lifecycle, and ecological balance define the identity of our products. Our goal is to develop the potential of industrial hemp as a renewable resource in construction and to establish industrial symbioses that support regional, bio-based value chains.

As Ambassadors of the New European Bauhaus, we carry forward its values for a beautiful, sustainable and inclusive built environment.

We are part of DG GROW’s consultations on hemp-based building materials in the ongoing construction product standards revision.

We work with baubook, Austria’s national register for building materials, on the ecological standardisation of our biocomposites.
